Yo La Tengo | Barcelona

From May 29 to June 1, the Primavera Sound Festival will once again take place in Barcelona, and so will the Flatstock Poster Show.
This year marks our eleventh and last Flatstock at Primavera Sound so we will go out with a bang!



Gig poster #2:

Our second gig poster for Primavera is for the mighty Yo La Tengo.


For this poster we took inspiration from the drive in featured on YLT’s last album cover.
We found, that quite a few songs on the album deal with loneliness and alienation. In order to reflect on that, we imagined, how could this place look in the future.
 We see a ghostly figure that returns to a place once important for him (or her). 
A lonely and deserted place, out of business for a long time.


Comes in two variants, with a female and male ghost, printed in transparent white.

3 color screen print, 50 × 70 cm.
